Title: Pink Raspberry
Post by: MagicInKC on November 20, 2003, 09:51:46 AM
What is the box finish on this fine ball I borrowed this from a friend this summer, and I know it is in need of a resurface, and I would like to try it in its OOB state.

Thanks,
David

I think it was around 600 grit smooth or matte finish.

That's what I thought, just wanted another opinion.

I drilled one up NIB in the spring, and it was 600-800 Scuffed.   It was not shiny at all.

Mine is shiny.  It is drilled 5x4 pin under the bridge.  It is a monster.  It is sooo skid snappy, which is very uncharacteristic of the buzzsaws.  When it was dull it rolled as expected. Even and heavy. But I have had most every buzzsaw since the beginning and I cannot explain why the pinks seem to do this. I do not get this reaction with the others.
