Title: Please Help
Post by: sullymatt on October 16, 2006, 10:57:08 AM
Looking for the ultimate 2 ball saw arsenal.    Conditions, medium to lite heavy and medium to lite.    My initial thoughts were the Black Cherry Bomb and a Cobalt....

Uranium Pearl.
Uranium Solid.

The more people you ask, the more (different) answers you will get!

Either both cobalts or both uraniums mix or match if you like too. If you go 3 i would say solid cobalt, tsumani and pearl cobalt for controlling heavier patterns, wet dry's and too create inside angles on broken down patterns.

I would go with the Uranium solid for the heavier fresh stuff and the Cobalt pearl for the drier broken down conditions. =:^D

KJ man, are you aware that the balls you mentioned both have the same covers?

Sukky: I would suggest the tsunami and the c+.

Good luck

not the same covers, close but the cobalt is tweaked differently, i thought they were the same as well but confirmation from lane 1 said they are indeed different covers, and having thrown both I would agree, cobalt cleaner up front the the tsu, both fairly strong on the back

I like the Uranium Solid and the Tsunami.  The C+ is not the oil ball for the heavier oil and I'm not talking heavy oil, just med/heavy.  Many bowlers matched up well with the Uranium pearl, but I didn't match up well with it at all.  I had better luck with the H2O and the Tsunami.

But thats just me.

question at hand, i can cover most all league shots with just my tsu and cobalt pearl
with the tsu being a semi pin drilling, and the cobalt pin above bridge, i get thru the heads nicely with both, but the cobalt needs a little more oil for the length, whereas the tsu with its weaker drilling is at home on the shorter/lighter stuff
