Please Recommend a Cleaner for Tsunami

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for the Tsunami H20?  Lane#1 said: "We recommend cleaning the balls as little as possible." "Any resin ball spray cleaner will work, as well as household degreasers, i.e. 409."

Hmmmm! I was somewhat surprised at the company's response.  It just didn't sound right for some reason.  I like to clean my ball after every league outing.  I have Track "Reaction Plus" that I use on my Track Threat, but I don't want to use it on the Tsunami, if inappropriate.  Lane#1 didn't recommend using the Track cleaner.

I clean it with Isopropyl alcohol after every practice.

ive never used iso alcohol, roy, have you found it leads to any cracking?
ive "heard" it causes the cover to get dry and brittle.

i use Track Clean N' Dull, gets the belt marks and oil out of the ball.

i got 3 balls cleaned up after league in 10 minutes, even after massive melt marring.

i wish i had a ball spinner, the results would be even better.

It feels like it's out of the box tackiness when I clean it.
I put a few drops on a napkin and wipe off the dirt.

im beginning to wonder if the brunswick remove all cleaner is windex and iso alcohol.

simple green is good but if you want the tackiness, use a glass window cleaner..works really well!

I use orange clean degreaser, then wipe again with windex.

My Tsunami picks up alot more dirt than my other Lane#1 balls. I clean it after every use with Track Clean N Dull. Works great and does not alter the surface. Gets that tacky feeling on the surface back. Track also has a product called Clean N Tacky. This also works great. You can order both from Buddiesproshop.com

I have used both iso and Clean & Dull. Both seem to work fine for getting the ball to look nice again. I cannot notice a difference in reaction or tackiness between the two. If I cannot get a better result from the Track cleaner, I will discontinue it's use after I use it up. Iso is MUCH cheaper!

I've always found the input from Ebonite on this subject to be excellent advice:

I've found Track Clean 'N Dull to be very effective. If you have stubborn belt/track marks or otherwise want the deepest hand cleaning possible, NeoTac's Khameleon Particle Sand High Tech Ball Restorer is the answer.

I've never understood the desire to use Alcohol, other than it being cheap. Save the Alcohol for disinfecting cuts. Use a real degreaser on your bowling equipment.

Any Clean & Dull available is limited to stock on hand as it has been discontinued and replaced by Clean & Tacky.

If isopropyl alcohol is truly cleaning your ball, it is not dirty and you're not bowling on ANY oil at all. C & D will CLEAN your ball; isopropyl alcohol will move the oil around but will never remove it.

That's why I use orange cleaner/degreaser, then wipe down good with window cleaner to remove any possible soap film. Stubborn belt marks take a little more effort, but still come off. And yes, it's pretty cheap!
