Title: Polished Buzzbomb

Anyone here polished their Buzzbomb...what kind of reaction do u get from a polished Buzzbomb ? Will it be a good 1-2 comb with the OOB Buzzbomb ?

I recently changed mine up to 2000grit w/polish because the weather or maybe a change in the machine was showing less oil than normal. I actually prefered the polished cover over OOB, I was still getting alot of midlane roll and much increased backend, which it wasn't lacking in the first place. Better skid in the front, but is to be expected. I could also use it for the whole set.

I think it could be a good 1-2 combo, but if I were to do it I would have one at 500 for serious oil, and one at 2000 w/polish. That would be a better 1-2 in my opinion. You still have to have atleast med-heavy with it polished though, from what I have seen taking it to 2 different houses.

I have had the same surface on my BuzzBomb from the get go that LaneHammer just put on his.

2000 grit Abralon pad with light coat of Magic Shine on top was money for me during leagues.

Our house shot is on the heavier side of a THS in the center of the lane but the OOB BuzzBomb was WAYYYYY too much midlane for our 40 year old wood lanes. With teh 2000 grit and polish the ball read about 5 feet later and had a much stronger backend which allowed me to move deeper and play angle to snap out the 10 pin better than withthe OOB finish.

Good 1-2 combo? Absolutely. I have acquired another BUzzBomb from a BR member in a trade and I RICO'd this ball.....talk about an oil ball!!!!! Strong and smooth early roll with a solid but controllable backend reaction. I left this ball at 1000 grit with no polish or compound.
