I've never thrown one before so I asked the inbred hillbilly if he had one and he said he'd sell me his.  How would this ball react for someone like me?  I'm looking for something smooth and even to start rolling in the midlane.

I have one: very true rolling; very even, in general. If you put the pin over the bridge as per usual, you will get a stronger arc than I do, but all you will get is arc. I can use it from medium oil to heavy oil. On medium-light, in my hand, it will burn itself up early. Hit is good, not great for me. With your revs it should be better.

It is one ball I have drilled strong and I can't make it snap on any condition. I get mild arc every time, so far. Since I rarely see medium, no less even medium-heavy oil these days, I have not been using it much lately. But, for all intents and purposes, it is my oiler.

Trizact is the best medium for surface modification. Standard surface is the white, the finest one. I have used it with the green (320-400 grit virtually) and the blue (600-800 grit or so). Its best, most versatile is with the White trizact; the out-of-box surface is white trizact, with a slight hit of green scotch-brite. I strongly recommend that you immediately give it a dose of WHite Triact, before any use!! (And you know I always recommend against any surface mods, prior to first use!)

DO NOT USE POLISH; DO NOT USE SANDPAPER! The white trizact will put a polish on it.

The cover wears forever and since it is Brunswick's 2.0 proactive, it is the best most durable proactive made. Since this ball does not make a left turn when thrown by fluffers, it is not a popular ball.

Yeah I'll probably put my standard pin over fingers cg below all on centerline layout on the ball.  Just a simple straight up layout.  Thanks for the insight.  I'm looking for midlane arcing ball with a medium backend so hopefully this fits the bill.  I have some white trizact so I'll hit it up.

I really like mine.   It gives me a different look compared to all my others.  It is a very true early, even rolling ball.  It has a lower rg and a lower diff when compared to other aws.  It will be your big hooker though.  It is so calm on the back end. I use the ball on many conditions.  I also use it to find the shot in practice, because it gives me the best read out of anything I have ever thrown.  This is still in the top 3 of the Lane #1 balls ever made IMO.
