Question about XXXL
« on: September 27, 2008, 09:01:34 AM »
I recently bought one used had fingers plugged for span and redone the pin is right of ring pretty much even with a decent sized weight hole to the side. Now I threw this on light oil and it found pocket beautifully however what I liked more then anything was how smooth it was and that leads me to my question is there a particular drilling and or maybe even a way to make these handle heavy oil and the such as the reaction was truely more controlled then ANY ball I have even thrown. My biggest problem has always been creating wet/dry spots.

Yea definitly however they do make balls that other companies fail to realize such as the xxxl with real core and the liberator which is a new urethane and both have a purpose to be in the bag as face it they may not be as strong but they dont jump on the dry and this saves me more than anything smooth and controlled is the way ALL balls should react not this go do a 90 and over/under react.

One of the smoothest rolling reactives I have tried lately is the Lane1 THS Retro Teal Buzzsaw, it easily handles mediums and if you knock the polish off with say 2000grit(us) or 4000grit ab. it is even smoother. I am not really sure if it could handle heavy oil or not because I have other balls for that, and have not tried it, maybe I will just for grins, I am not the heaviest handed in the world either so keep that in mind if considering this ball.

Well Im medium at best however I throw with pretty low speed so it maybe a good heavy oiler for me(currently use a gree vibe) however as much as I like it it does jump once in a while off the dry or occasionally messup due to wet dry conditions.

Actually I was really thinking about the THS just simply didnt know what to expect it to do if it would still jump slightly off the dry or if it would smooth it out immensely such as the xxxl does for me. Thank you very much and may all our saws continue to cut through the competition.
