Title: Red death still impressive
Post by: triggerman on October 27, 2009, 02:02:22 AM
got somewhere north of 50 games on my RD and it continues to amaze me at the ease and versiitility it has.  I am almost to the point that the RD and plastic is enough for me to cover most league shots.  I am not a good bowler by any stretch, (205-210 average) but this ball instills so much confidence, the last six weeks one set lower then 610 with 4 of the sets above 650.

Easy length, big boomer backend, and control to go with it.  versitility to play two seperate lines on the lanes, (lane 31 swinging 4th arrow, lane 32 hard and fast up ten)

get one while they are still on special, it truely has a different roll then lane 1 of the past.  has me very impressed thus far

Agreed...my Red Death is great although with the weak pin location on mine I need to do my part since the ball doesn't have a huge amount of error recovery built in.

I think I am going to buy another and drill it like the Lunatic I have been using....going to try pin under ring and see what that does for me.

I actually placed my pin a little weak for myself too and am totally impressed with the easy recovery this ball gets

drilled dual angle
drill angle 70*
pin to pap 5.5
val angle 30*
no weight hole required.  Drilling was perfect for me

once again I must sing the praises of this ball, it just keeps impressing myself and those around me, effortless length big backend and rack destroying, pin carrying power  I am but a mere 210 bowler but the last 4 sets have been 674-681-692-702  all with one ball  I cant say enough about this ball, if the blue death is remotely close they are going to be a great 1-2 combo
