RESURFACING BLACK RASPBERRY

just wanted to know what the factory finish was on the black raspberry,,just purchased one single drill in a semi polished state.really needs a resurface

. . . but my Pink hit with 1K Abralon and no polish worked well on fresh.

Out of box the black Raspberry was 600 grit I think. It was the sanded C2 of the bunch...

For the best reaction...
And I've thrown many.

Try 600 Grit Paper as your final grit and the Secret Sauce.

To me it is the best Powercoil 18 surface ever!!

600 grit US. The Scotch Brite green nylon pad should do the job.

If you use wet/dry sandpaper, make sure it doesn't say "P600" grit. That'll be about 400 grit US!! Make sure it says "600" grit.

The 1000 grit Abralon will be close. It's P1000 grit or 1000 grit FEPA. That's about 550 grit US.

well i took it to 1000 abralon and light polish,damn thing comes back from anywhere. stood virtually in the left hand gutter throwing 5 board,started with 266 followed with 247,,,,changed it up to an emerald label drill for a 255,,,this old stuff kicks it big time..............throw them in with a nib pearl uranium   235   222     218    wow great afternoon practice

remember the saying  ' one mans trash is another mans treasure ' noone here has seen ,owned , or heard of black raspberrys or emeralds or cranberry buzzsaws , they would have now . The gear is for me better . I know its old school for some but i hope you guys keep selling off your trash because i will keep buying it . Lol
