Earlier this year I got a pink raspberry from Srkegler. I honestly believe that ball along with my new blue carbide helped me to raise my average 20 pins this year.
On with the story:
So last night it's time to pull out my trusty pink razz. I get her out of the bag & let her rip as she hits the pins I hear "clunk clunk click thump". It just does NOT sound right. I throw again & the same awful noise.
I take her off of the rack & take a good look. Although she's been drilled more times than a $5 whore there's still no really bad damage I can find. So I give her a gentle bounce on the ground "thunk thunk thunk".
I'm pretty sure it's a separated core.
I tried a couple of frames. Terrible hit/leaves & that same crappy sound.
So rest in peace Pink Razz you've been a godess.
If anyone has a cheap 15# "berry" series ball let me know. Multiple drillings are acceptable for a low price.

I have a 16# Pink one drill only

If you really can't get one, you might want to try a Bruiser. I suspect it's as close to a "Berry" as Brunswick will get. The Quantum mushroom core is as close in overall dynamics to the diamond in a diamond, when also looking for the PK 18 cover, as is possible these days.

I had to retire my Pearl Carbide due to a crack. This was a great ball for my game and wish I could find a replacemnet with the exact same specs.
