Title: Rudy Revs
Post by: Gene J Kanak on November 30, 2005, 01:03:38 PM
I got to watch him throw some shots Tuesday night when I had to show up for the non-member meeting for the PTQ. Man, the dude is simply ridiculous. I've seen some guys who can put the fingers to the ball, but that guy is sick. I think he puts more on one shot than I usually put on two. lol. In any case, seeing it in person is even more impressive than on vid.

Gene, believe it or not he use to rev more many years ago.  I remember seeing him when I started bowling here in NY (he was bowling on Long Island at the time).  Mind boggling to say the least!  Wreckless when it came to action bowling!

Rudy is in the round of 32, also known as match play at the bowlersparadise.com this week.  His revs are freakin crazy...a tad more than 32...

"Maximum Bob" has the most revs on Tour ... based upon what I have heard in the past, and through personal experience when I got to know him last year at his home lanes(Harley's Simi Bowl) in Simi Valley, SoCal. He's a GREAT guy ... down to earth, very cool, and a true bowler in the best sense of the phrase.
I understand that he has cut back on the revs a bit to remain competitive though ...

Right now, Smith can put more on the ball.  But back in Rudy's prime, watch out.

Don't mess with Trigg.  He has high speed internet, a reply box on here already open, and another window open with the PBA site that he refreshes every 3 seconds.  He's ready for action.

anywhere i can see a video of this dude?
never heard of him

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Many moons ago the question was asked .. what PBA member had the best form? My answer was RUDY REVS.

I bowled league with him in the 90's at BAYSHORE lanes on Sunrise Highway in Long Island. Rudy (at that time) had a big back swing and when the ball left his hand you never heard a sound ..left a LASTING impression on me!

i wouldnt go that far, walking around the ball return and contorting his elbow and shoulders like he does is not pretty IMO.
