Tsunami Cover

What cover does this ball actually have on it?  Is is a solid pk18?  Or version of the activator?

My understanding is that it's a "hybrid" cover, a combination of PK 18 and Activator Plus.  What that means exactly, though, is anyone's guess.

Alright...  Thats what I read on the Lane1 site.. so sort of like the HDB cover I guess...maybe a different mix ratio?

Strapper, I think the only difference is, the HDB uses activator with PK18, & the tsunami is activator plus with PK18. What the mix ratio is, is anybodies guess!

BC's quote above is my understanding as well.  My experience with various Activator coverstocks and with PK18 suggests to me that the Tsunami is more PK18 than it is Activator Plus, but it is also possible that the mix is different in each ball.  If so, that could partially explain the lack of agreement among Tsunami users about what kind of condition it is best suited for.
