Sacrilage

I know I am a buzzhead through and through, but I had an opportunity to purchase a ASU Cheetah NIB.

http://www.icubed.com/users/allereb/lichstein.html

It is by a company in Michigan, that made the Kryptonite.

The Cheetah is a diamond shaped weight block from 1994.  This came out after  or right at the same time as the black Buzzsaw.

I am curious on how this diamond weight blocked ball will compare.  It has a Storm cover, not sure which one.  I do not know the story on how ASU had the diamond block as well.  If anyone knows, I would be interested.

I drilled it pin axis, with a 9" weight hole.  We shall see.  I have a dryer wet/dry condition tommorrow night that begs for that type of ball and drilling.  Lets see If I can feed the beast, or be eaten.

I will let my fellow buzzheads know the results.

I'm not sure which I find more surprising:  that you were able to find a NIB Cheetah, or that Allereb's Web site is still up after all these years.

I think I read in BTM a while back that the owner of ASU went on to start Ballistik, which was the company that produced the Boomerang and Kryptonite, among others.

Nope, I have the black one.  The Orange one is different.
