BCB vs Uranium
« on: February 17, 2004, 09:36:18 PM »
Is the Uranium stronger than the BCB? I know the Uranium is a pearl, but folks on here are saying how strong it is. I've seen a few folks throw the BCB and I really like what I see. How do the two balls compare, or what conditons will each one perform best on?

thanks a lot guys. Trying to make a decision on my first Lane #1 product.

I've never thrown the BCB polished, so I can't tell you exactly how it would read the lanes in that condition, but I can tell you that in box finish the two balls are very different. My BCB is for when the oil is long and heavy while the Uranium seems to be good for all mediums, as long as the backends are somewhat clean. The Uranium does seem to be able to handle oil down the lane better than most of the pearls that I've thrown, but it will stil get squirty if you don't have friction down the lane. The best way that I can describe the Uranium is to think of an Inferno with more predictability. As I said, polished up, maybe the BCB could work on the same conditions as the Uranium, but in almost all cases, the BCB will start sooner and handle a much greater volume of oil than the Uranium. The Uranium will offer better backend and will save more energy on your every day conditions.

Bowling is without a doubt the dumbest, most pointless, most idiotic excuse for a game that has ever been invented. So, what time are we bowling tomorrow?
