So I have this ball sitting in my bedroom ( http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=11/32017590515.jpg&s=x11 special thanks to orangemen!
) and I have to plug the fingers because the span is way too long for me (over 5" to my 4 3/8"). Since the house ball driller will have to sand the ball down after the plug is complete, I'd like to know what surface prep would be closest to NIB. Any other suggestions would be appreciated

I think it comes at 35-mircon (I think it's 400-grit). You can also apply some 3M Finesse-It II for the polished finish.
