has never done before.

I thought that they would come out with a platnium nugget or a copper bomb.  However if they change the core, lane #1 is sunk.  Face it the diamond core makes those balls.  The coverstocks are made by brunswick, it's all about the core.

They won't tell me either what's cookin so I'll ask a question....

Anyone think an offset nugget in the core to produce a mass bias would be in the works?

The Activator cover is just a matter of time. Sooner or later it'll be here.

On a slightly different note...anyone seen the new Blazing Inferno? Does that not look an awful lot like a Cherry Bomb coverstock? The color is even the same.

I have both side by side and the cherry bomb has more of a metallic look to it than the blazing inferno does. The cherry is much stronger on more conditions than the blazing inferno.

I don't know whats next , but i however did here that Lane#1 will start making there own covers. The Lane#1 ball will be a total Lane#1 Product. No Brunswick just Lane#1

I do know that Lane 1 bought a bunch of the equipment when the Faball plant closed so it is a distinct possibility that they are gearing up for a 100% Lane#1 Buzzsaw.

I too had the Cherry Bomb and the Blazing sitting side by side and the 2 samples I had here were darn near identical.

Of course the Cherry hooked more but the look of the 2 balls was, as Jimmy T states, "strikingly" similar.

stealing my idea Doug???? Mass bias....uh huh....

I think this might be it...they have done a lot with the diamond core already, the next logical step IMO would be the offset nugget....guess we'll see.

They do have all the equipment to make their own stuff now, my fiances dad got to tour the place, he's got the equipment, but I don't think he has it all set yet, I could be wrong.

But I would like to see the offset nugget.
