The Golden Nugget.......
« on: November 04, 2003, 05:01:42 AM »
I called Lane 1 today because I had some questions on the drilling of my XXL and as usual they were very helpful.

Spoke with Chuck he seems really excited about the Golden Nugget even more so than when I asked him about the Cranberry before that ball came out.

So even though some of you don't like the color and some do, does it really matter.Personally, like the color or not it sounds great and if some guys won't buy it because of the color thats fine.

But when guys keep cashing and destroying the rack with the Golden Nugget it's amazing how much better it will look to them then.

To all the Lane 1 bashers on here, can you tell me that YOU had ANY input at all in the bowling balls you use???
Didn't think so......

P.S.......Anybody looking to buy a Cranberry or a Blueberry in 15lbs used with about 75 games on both let me know I need to make room for the Golden Nugget when it becomes available.........

Hey Everybody,

Like I, err Clump, I mean Dave, or is it Saw Mill said; aw heck, plane Inglush,
dis heyah ball IS NOT a remake of ANY other Saw!  Maybe I is a typin to fast fer ya, or yer readin too slow, but undastan, da Golden Nugget (just saying the word Golden, sturs up da minin blood in my veins) is its own Saw.  It is a lite lode partacal cover, with da Cranburry core.

Dave, Clump, Saw Mill or whoever the heck I am!

Buzzhead,

I will try to do this in the mondset of my ego, to give the Clump side of me a rest (since everyone believes I am he, or is it he is me).  Go to lane 1s site, and click on balls, then on the discontinued or retired link.  The ball reaction guide should give you some idea, but the GN is not added yet.  I will do the best I can to get with my alter ego, and give a comparison later.

Dave

BowlerBob is just another creation of some bored regular.  No one can be that dumb to read the entire post and miss the mention that the ball wouldn't be available to pro shops until Thanksgiving.
