it has an arc hook .. not a skid snap style.

one of mines drilled the same but the CG in span.  box finish was making skid a bit too much for the oil condition I have, I took it down to 400 and the energy did not change.  I use it for heavy oil and sometimes for meduim-heavy with a wider swing shot

I have had a couple of them but the one I have right now is my favorite of the bunch. I have it drilled pin under the ring with the cg out and a light coat of polish.

The ball starts up earlier but has the smoothest and most continuous hook I have seen on a solid resin ball.

Very strong on the backend as well. No snap here...just a strong, smooth arc.
