IMO the super carbide bomb was and still is the heaviest oiler lane #1 has ever made. just an absolute flair monster. of there current line up. the closest ball would be either the agent orange or buzzbomb(both just recently retired) or the new red death massacre.

I saw one a few weeks ago at the pro shop in AMF Country Club lanes (in Baltimore, MD).  I am not sure if it was NIB, but you could always call them to see.

The SCB is is very durable and adjustable. Every few months, I refresh it on the spinner using 35 Micron Trizact, and it's good as new. The ball also takes polish well. You can easily set it up for anything from medium to heavy.

You wouldn't think so, but the particle cover seems to need much less maintenance than the aggressive Brunswick reactive covers used on other Lane#1 equipment. It seems I have to bake my solid Uranium in the Revivor every few months to keep close to NIB reaction.

Seeing that the Agent Orange is a pearl, yea I don't think it would be a good replacement for a SCB.

Yes, I have both. My Red Death is earlier without quite as much backend as the SCB. But the pin locations, length and cover preparation are different on the two balls, so maybe I'm not making a fair comparison.

I find my BuzzBomb is very similar to the SCB. For me, the two almost interchangable.

Red Death or Bounty Hunter.  2 best heavy oil balls on the market if you ask me.

Next would be the newest Lane 1 Curve.  It's particle pearl, so it will go longer than the SCB but still bite hard as both are particle covers.  Loving my Curve right now.

The new Big Curve is closer to the SCB than their other offerings at this time.

The Buzzbomb is good but can be problematic for some due to the core design. The same is said of teh Agent Orange.

The Red Death Massacre hooks quite a bit but I just dont think you will get that heavy roll the SCB had in the midlane and still have a strong backend reaction.

The new Big Curve has that strong midlane and still has plenty left for the backend. Should be available in a week or so.

Just offering the best 2 out there imo.  Of course Lane 1 first, but 900 G is the 2nd best given it's a sister company.
