Please forgive my ignorance, but I see a lot of profiles where people list their rev rate, ball speed, and other information such a layout preferences, etc.  Could someone give me information on how to measure rev rate and ball speed?  Is there some formula you use, or a special tool?  I would love to know my personal specs do better describe my bowling style.

By the way I am new to this site and am enjoying the discussions that take place!  Glad I found this forum- says a lot about the members.
