Black Buzzsaw/C
« on: December 07, 2007, 03:32:36 AM »
I recently obtained one of these.
It showed up with a polished cover.
Lane #1 website shows the finish to be 400-grit sanded.
Anyone remember throwing one of these?
Which recent Lane #1 ball would closest compare to my antique?

I have had several of these.. basically a solid version of the silver diamond.  I tried the cover sanded a few times, but found that 800 grit wet sand with a coat of polish rolled the best for me.  Sanded, they were very smooth and arcy.. with some polish, they could be quite angular on the backend (given the right conditions).  Probably one of the better rolling buzzsaws I have ever thrown.
