as I stated, I am not in the know, and mine is purely speculation, i only added my two cents to the picture since everyone seems fixated on the sure grip name, it was the "oh my they stole it" or the "oh my its rotos name"  I am just pointing out that there very well could be explanations on the usage

Mav you are right there is pending registrations, (an item i did not give thought to) so who really knows what is going on here

but to sell the usage of a trademarked name is and can be good business sense if the price is right  I never said it was loaned, once again my thoughts are purely speculation so dont take them for anything more then that

I'm leaning more in that direction than "back door deals", I'm not into that sorta thing, but apparently you Lane #1 guys are.

LOL! Mav, you're harboring some serious mental baggage....

Regardless of what you think of 'Lane #1 guys' or Lane#1 itself, the company has successfully been in business for a long time. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they thought about the name and have done what's legally necessary to use it. If something fell through the cracks, they're smart enough to change the name and move on.

The more relevant question is what the new coverstock brings to the table. If they have something that can to go toe-to-toe with the Resurgence, they'll have a winner.
