The Clump Ball
« on: October 27, 2003, 11:25:39 PM »
Based on everyone's response to "Build a Lane 1 Ball sponsored by Clump" the next Lane 1 release should be a pearl particle with the C2 core.  In keeping with the Berry theme and in recognition of Clump's hard work and devotion to Lane 1 and it's loyal fans I heard that the ball would be called the Dingle Berry in his honor?  So, what's the release date for this ball Clump?

John,

Dingle Berry, what a perfect name for the representative on this site, of Lane 1's ball.  What was the color they picked out for it, brown , would only seem fitting for such a Buzzsaw?

DingleBerry is good, but I think Huckleberry is more appropriate!

I can hear Phil Rizzuto shouting it now, "What a Huckleberry!"

Dingle Berry?!? Oh well, I'll probably end up throwing one eventually. So, a pearl particle huh? So will the C/2 core help tame such a strong coverstock? Are we talking medium to medium heavy conditions? Well, whatever it is I know it's gonna' be a beast!

PS: Personally, "Super Benchmark Dingle Berry" would be a better name. (LOL! Just kidding!)

JS,

Better be careful about calling Clump a dingleberry , afterall you would not want him to Clump up on ya!!  Clump definite knows his Lane 1 stuff, and what a GREAT concept, a ball company polling their users, and actually listening to what they want to see.  Whatever new ball comes out, as always will be a Buzz around the Lanes, and will always Saw up the pins.  One of these days I am gfoing to have to meet this Clump guy, even if he is a hick!

I don't care what you call it as long as it has the C/2 core.

Brick,

You got that right.  I would love to have a pearl particle with the C2 core.  Hopefully Lane 1 will give us that sometime next year.  Please Lane 1!

The pearl carbide had the dual separated diamonds.  The C2 is the dual stacked diamonds.

Wow, what a coincidence, I thought I was the only one who was skeptical of Clump, but I see maybe others are????

Dave,

You are so right, what a great concept it is that a ball company poll their users and listen to what they have to say.  Unfortunately, I don't think that clump represents Lane #1.  Now it was amusing to read and get some laughs from his posts but after reading the responses that he is getting I can't distinguish if people are just playing along or they really buy his bs.  How many of you really (seriously) think he represents Lane #1.

As many of you might know, the Lane #1 site has a forums section where you can offer suggestions for future Lane 1 equipment.  This forum is read by Richie Sposato (Mr Buzzsaw), the president of Lane #1.  If you want your suggestions heard, this is a great place to start.  And as John F (Mr Buzzsaw UK) stated, Richie also visits this site.

And I'll second Curly with a "Bring Back the Blueberry".

Sorry your clumpiness but when I looked through the responses (I have a lot of time on my hands, don't I) I came up with at least 9 responses for the BB/C2 core and only 2 for the Cranberry.  I know, I know, you got some pm's for the Cranberry , but they still don't come to more than the BB/C2.  Whatcha gonna do now clumpy????

If most of the people want the Blue Berry back, why would they cast their votes on something else?  Like John said there were more than a few people asking for a particle pearl with the C/2 cover.  This includes me!
