This reminds me of that TV show "24"

You know how they count down....

Lets start counting....

And see how long it will be till the next and best new Lane One ball comes out...

I'll start...

15-16 minutes...  oops...  "oh ya, like I'm way out of line here"

Man, it's a good thing Miss Kelly didn't use this new ball, cause she would have really done a number on Barnes.....

Now if you will excuse me,  I'm on a Mission... oops

Ok now this is where the sawheads come on...

Or should I say, there heads explode...  oops again.. sorry...

There's only one problem with your "joke" -- it's probably true. For every company.

Cover technology is changing so fast that when you go up a generation, the last set of balls do look quite a bit milder.

I've been told by our pro shop guys to expect the Hammer Jigsaw Corner to sort of rewrite the book on the ability to backend. If that's the case, I won't be able to use it. I already find most of last year's balls (especially the Bounty Hunter Pearl) to be too much. I would probably say the same for the Curve or the Evil Siege.

And, as you say, another generation will be out in 6-12 months and we'll start the process all over again.

Hey Jess,   early feedback on the Jig Corner...

I don't think you will need to worry about too much back end... Unless your on the dry to light...

Kinda disappointed in the early feedback.

Trigger Man. Or any other serious Lane#1 fans.

How would you compare the Curve to the Blue Death? which would give the most hook off the spot? and overall hook?

thanks,

right now my BD is harder off the spot, but, my curve is maxed on side weight, I know people dont buy into it, but I will punch a hole in the side and I think it will come alive.  These two balls are drilled identical, my curve had the cg 2" right of the pin mass bias line, so I ended up with excess side weight when compared to the BD

I am hoping to see a completely different result after putting the hole in it

I will say the curve is better in deep, the BD is better outside, right now my curve is kind of loping down the lane, the balance hole should help minimize that
