The Enriched Uranium ..........question
« on: March 30, 2006, 02:41:59 PM »
I have mine on order and am looking for a drill pattern based on your experience with the ball..

How did you drill yours?
What type of roll does this ball have?
How does it roll in heavy and medium oil patterns?
When does it trully shine?
What is your throwing style?

The ball i got coming is an 4 inch pin, 3 ounces top weight.
I have good speed and a high rev rate, a refined cranker.

I am looking to to drill mine 1:30 label, or Stacked leverage.

Please tell me what you guys think...

CI, with good speed and high revs, you may need to calm this ball down a bit. A CG out layout may be better..? =:^D

A 1:30 layout gives the balll more length and more backend. Higher rev players usually don't need more backend, because they can create enough backend with their revs. Therefore, more control is usually better. Along with your higher speed, it cuts down on possible over under.

With the 1:30 layout, you'll be able to stand more left and throw more right, and that is fine if the lanes are drier. But if you hit oil, this is where you may get into trouble with the 1:30 layout. =:^D

the pin on my ball is a little over 3 inch and located above and slight right of ring finger.  cg is slightly kicked out to the right also.

ball has an early roll.
on heavy oil patterns, it's a down and in type shot for me.
on med patterns, this ball kills.
it shines for now, i'm playing a reverse block sport shot pattern and it's the only ball that works for me. playing outside 5th board and this hooks back into pocket.
throwing style is a little bit above med speed with a lot of revs.

based on previous expereinece, i had this ball with stacked leverage and i personally did not like the roll.
