Blueberry changing colors.
« on: November 04, 2003, 02:07:49 AM »
My blueberry buzzsaw has been developing(for lack of a better term) light blue spots over its coverstock.

Cleaning the ball with a ball cleaner, polishing it, or putting it in a dishwasher do not have an effect on these spots. Sometimes they will go away only to come back agian in different spots. I believe this is mostly a cosmetic question, because the ball reacts the same.

I was wondering if anybody else has this problem, and any explaination to why this happens.....

Thanks

Does your ball stay in a cold area when you are not bowling? If so that may be the problem. I keep my bowling balls in my trunk throughout the winter and notice several "white" spots throughout the ball due to the cold weather. Once the ball warms up and makes contact with the lane a few times, the spots tend to go away, but not always. A resurface may do the trick, that has taken those spots out of my equipment. If not, then I dont know, could be a coverstock issue.

Cleaning the ball with Neotack Hook-It gets rid of the white, blotchy spots. But, they may come back again at a later time. =:^D
