Title: The Secret Sauce

Guys, not trying to dominate the forum, but i like to ask questions.... If i buy the 8oz size of sauce,  approximately how long will this last or better yet how much does it takes to shine up a ball?

it depends on how much shine you want, I'd say no more than a dime size of the sauce. There was something on here about the Sauce like more than a month ago, so I dont remember what was said. I know when I polish my stuff, I dont use more than dime size and I get what I need out of the polish

doesnt take much, a lot depends on your underlying grit, but say you are at 1000 wetsand, even the left over on a shop towel will put a shine on a ball, 3-4 drops on a towel will leave you with a nice glossy shine, one guy with a spinner and I would anticipate an 8 oz bottle to last all year

Just don't clean the cloth and use a very stable kind of cloth... then all you need is add water or a little bit of new sauce and the piece of cloth will polish again.

the sauce is water + solid stuff and the solid stuff stays more or less in the cloth so all you need to add to "activate" it again is water and "replace" the loss of sauce.

what do the $$$ in your sig mean behind the balls? I have a C+ and am figuring this ball out... it's the most aggressive piece I had till now and it ist a beast but giving me a headache now and then... is the ball..... money?

$$$$ = money ball! the more $$$$ means the better the ball or i throw it better than others.  If i was going to bowl someone i never met for money, they would get the C+ or EU!

OK fellas....

One week to go on the bread route and it is back to business as usual. Looking forward to meeting alot of you guys and gals.

As far as the Sauce is concerned. You actually can't get a dime size becasue the Sauce is not a paste or cream. IT will absorb quickly into your towel. I suggest taking a damp(not wet) towel and on your very first application on that particular towel. Use a about 10 drops on the towel. Spritz the ball with water and rub the Sauce on the ball. Then turn the spinner on and use moderate pressure. Then buff with a clean towel.

For future applications you only need to spray the towel with water and add 3-4 drops of polish for the whole ball. Buff ball same as above.

Never wash your towel as the magical Sauce particles will stay alive in the towel. They will just need to be woken up with a spritz of water. You should get at least 20-50 balls from an 8 oz. bottle depending how you use the Sauce.

Well, i just tried the sauce.... let me say it like this.... IF YOU DON'T TRY THE SAUCE, "YOU'S A FOOL!" LOL!  Fellas, you talk about saving energy for the pocket, wow!  THANKS BEANS, LANE #1..... AWESOME..... and so easy to use

I've used 2-3 oz (not all at the same time!) of the sauce, with a lot of elbow grease, on my Liberator....still not very polished.

Anyone have any luck polishing one of these up?

You need to sand it finer first. That'll make it easier for SS to work on it. You can also try an aggressive rubbing compound like ROugh Buff, first to get a finer base. Try 2000 grit Abralon or 1000 grit sandpaper, then polish. If necessary, take it to 4000 grit Abralon.

Urethane is traditionally harder to work than "reactive" resin.
