Who ever said that would happen?  Either way, I will bet money that they will be great with whoever they go to; I would love to see them go with Ebonite or Hammer, maybe even Track if they change, which I have not heard anything about recently.

Question; How would they be any less great?

I'd hate to put words into Joe's mouth, but I bet I can figure it out...  Lane 1 is re-releasing the Blueberry.

well i put 2 and 2 together..

he said that he wonders if they are going to be so great when brunswick stops doing their covers

then says its ok thought because columbia has solved the cracking problem

so im assuming that lane 1 is switching to columbia..

man, that means c300 will be in with dyno thane/track/amf...and now possibly lane 1?

No no, I know what's going on.  Joe made a typo earlier.  He didn't mean "cracking", he just meant "crack".  The country of Columbia has finally eliminated that whole crack problem.  As for the Lane 1 thing, Joe just means that they are going to stop using covers completely.  He never said anything about different covers, he just said "when brunswick covers aren't utilized".  THey are just going to sell really big cores that you can drill holes in.  They might roll a little funny, but I guess you'd get used to 'em.

You may thank me later.

It was also said by a certain female user over on BowlingBallExchange.com but in all my conversation with Chuck and Craig it was not confirmed. I know Triggie is close to those guys also and he hasn't heard anything so let the controversy begin!!

If they re-release the Blueberry, though they probably won't call it that, with a Columbia Solid Super-Flex cover, it WILL be a winner!

That ball I would buy in a New York minute!!
