Answers to questions from Inverted1's locked topic...
« on: November 20, 2008, 11:09:54 PM »
After reading some responses to my posts it seems that people think I am asking a question with my comments....

Why do we weigh balls..?

I have been drilling balls for over 15 years now in my own shop. I have attended numerous seminars of every company including Jim Maxey's Pro Shop Instruction with Kelly Bednar. I KNOW WHY WE WEIGH BALLS...I know how to do my job as good if not better than most.

I am the Lane#1 National Sales booth manager and ball driller. We at Lane#1 believe strongly that static weights in our cores affect ball reaction. It is OK that others do not but this is what we believe so this is what we talk about.

The USBC is not as stupid as some people think. They have changed the the differential maximums to help curb scoring a little. They have changed several other rules as well.

With all their technology, why would they not change the static weight rule if it truly had no effect on ball reaction???

In this industry... We ALL have opinions of what works and what doesn't and why they do and don't. There is no sense trying to argue an opinion when no matter how "DUMB" you think someone is. They are still going to belive what they think is correct.
This my friends is what is considered the KOOL AID...

Drink the KOOL AID and use the Force Luke.

LOL!!!
