I sent the seller a message, to the effect that:
1) you have the wrong name for the ball; and
2) your price is way too high.
He replied that I was wrong, it's called a Carbide, and he's not worried that Buddies is selling them for $170, he'll get his price sooner or later. Welcome to the wonderful world of eBay!
Am I crazy, or is this a Golden Nugget?

my nephews nugget doesn't have carbide written on the side of it. Could this be an overseas ball? Does lane 1 even have overseas balls? If this is a golden nugget, why is it different from my nephews?

I can attest to the FACT that this IS the Golden Nugget. The GN says only says CARBIDE on it!!

Notice it says Buzzsaw/C on the one and Carbide on the other.
The Golden Nugget is the only ball that has the 2 of those together on the same ball. I have sold a few dozen Golden Nuggets and all have had the Carbide and the Buzzsaw/C logos on them.
It is possible that some got out without being engraved. I have seen this before on other balls. I got some Danger Zones the one time that did not have the Z on the one side. I called Brunswick and they said same ball just missed the engraver. No big deal.
ALso saw some 14# Turbo Diesels without the LMB marked on them...sorry Jim....I still feel bad about that one :-)

This seller is located very near to me, but from the pic I can not tell where it was taken from.
There are NO pro shops on Grand Island, besides the very tiny on inside their lanes, and it looks NOTHING like this.
Of course the price is out of line to those of you on this board. But from what we have noticed over the years, someone from a larger market such as NYC, LA, etc. that has no inkling other than their over-priced pro shops may just bite on it.

Oh well, I guess I should have listened more to my teachers when I was in school and paid more attention. lol
