I have always raved about Lane 1, and I will add that their product would and is worth the money not only for their performance, BUT their service. They have treated me like a friend and family member, as if they have known me for years, and now my wife has told me of their friendliness toward her. She is getting me a Lane 1 6 ball roller and two ball tote for Christmas, and Chuck even contacted her personally. She was so amazed at one of the tope persons called her. NOW, can anyone tell me any other company where someone of the position of a Chuck or Richie would take that kind of personal attention? I would dare say NO!! I do not mean that you can't find some company where YOU may be able to speak with a VP or big wig, BUT at Lane 1, they actually will stop and shoot the breeze and talk of stuff other than bowling products.
I am amazed at their personal touch, even their receptionists know me, and when I call even know my name before I tell them. There is no company where I could call 3 times in one day, that would not try to "take a message" to say that you are calling too much. I also like it that when you leave a message, whoever it is meant for ACTUALLY calls you back.
You see, the debate of "why so expensive" (and not really as much more as is implied), or "are they really worth the $$$", is easily answered not only by trying their product for yourself, BUT experiencing the "personal family treatment" that you will receive. I can honestly say that even if my scores dropped, I would not feel it so bad because of the feeling I get from dealing with people Like Richie, Chuck, and ALL of the staff at Lane 1. The Mastercard commercial comes to mind where they put a price tag on things, and then they get to the "priceless" one; Lane 1 bowling ball - $$$.$$, Lane 1 shirt - $$.$$, Lane 1 2 ball tote - $$.$$; Lane 1 service and personal treatment - PRICELESS!!!! Thanks Richie and Chuck, and ALL the staff, and I would be remiss if I did not thank Doug Sterner for introducing me to not only such a wonderful product, BUT the best staff a bowler could be associated with.
