I have a Army green Carbide Bomb. It has a pin out about 5''
Its drilled kinda like thumb leverage except the pin is over the ring
finger and the cg swung out. 5 x 4 . The weight hole is located on the PAP
the CG is 1'' above the thumb and 1'' out.
When the ball starts to flip it starts thumping. Do you think it may have to much thumb weight. Should i plug the weight hole and move it down to take away some of the thumb weight ?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks JP

There's a good possibility it's probably flaring over your weight hole. =:^D

throw it a few shots on a heavy oil condition and see where the oil rings go... Sounds as though it is either flaring over the fingers or weight hole. The ball should flare away from the thumb, so you can rule that out. With the layout, I would guess the weight hole though. If that's the case, the only solution would be to either release the ball differently (which prob isn't a good idea), or move the weight hole. Personally, I would call Lane#1 [1-800-Lane No.1 (526-3661)], and ask their opinion. Have ready your exact layout and weight hole placement... and whether it is rolling over the fingers or weight hole. They are very helpful and easy to talk to... and should point you in the right direction.

Thanks Strapper, It is flairing over the weight hole . I will just plug the weight hole and move it about 1 '' up and it should be OK. The ball flair is only catching the first half of the weight hole. BUT Thanks for everything guy's
