Time Bomb vs Pink Panther
« on: December 06, 2010, 08:28:52 AM »
I bought the Time Bomb about two months ago, have about 2 games on it, used in practice and absolutely hate it.  It's drilled 4 x 4, pin about 130 position, weight hole about 45 degree's.  I'm thinking about getting the Panther, can anyone compare the two and give details/recommendations?

My Time bomb seems to roll out when dull and just skid when it's polished.  There's no drive to the ball and I cannot figure out why.  I have the Buzzbomb and truly love it, have a good honor score with it.  It's drilled pin under and it moves significantly more than the TB and has more drive.

Thanks!

The Panther will roll sooner then the Time Bomb, and have a smooth overall motion.

I had my time bomb drilled up with pin over and to the right of ring, cg kicked out and it didnt move for me at all.  it would carry well, but i basically had to throw it straight at the pocket at times.  got my stats and figured out a baseline dual angle and now i love the ball, makes a strong move left for me and still hits hard.

I finally got a chance to throw my Pink and Time Bomb back to back.  Time Bomb goes longer, Panther is smoother.

If I could only keep one, it'd be the Pink

I drilled my Time Bomb pin under the ring finger 60*4.5*55 and it hooked out of the building.  Not even a fresh oil condition could contain it, it had such a strong back end reaction it was hardly controllable.  I sold it can't use it anywhere in this state.

im on my second drill and it didnt move with either one....
drill #1 was pin over bridge 1" up and cg 45*

drill #2 pin 2"up 3/4right with cg at 30*

i was pretty disappointed with this ball especially for the price....

my stats are 17mph 500+ revs and 45* tilt....

my go to ball is my pin under middle cg lined at a 30* angle under the ring finger c system 2.5.... i may try that layout on my timebomb...id just hate to drill it again
