Well, I'm Buying a BCB.
« on: December 06, 2003, 11:15:51 PM »
I’ve been weighing the pros & cons on Lane#1 products. I believe that they might fit my game better than the Storms.

Price wasn’t an issue but I was pleasantly surprised when I had two drillers quote me their prices.

Driller-1 (who I’ve never used) will sell me a BCB, drilled, thumb slug, vacu grips, and taxes for $200.00. He is located in a small town in California, MO.

Driller-2 price is $215.00. Since I have been using him for four years I will pay the extra $15.00. This shop is located in Raytown (Kansas City), MO.

In North KC, just a few miles away from Raytown, at the AMF Pro Bowl, the price for JUST the ball was $300.00! Don’t figure.

Anyway, I’m going to get it drilled with the pin below my ring finger and the CG kicked out. My speed overpowers the lanes at time. Hopefully this will prevent me from throwing past my breakpoint.

My wrist brace is just like my RADAR detector, I really don't need it but it sure makes me feel better when I have it on.

Your planned drilling should work. I have 2 balls drilled like that, the Blueberry Buzzsaw and a V2 Pearl. That drilling works very good for me, on both balls.

In the old days, they used axes to chop up wood...Nowadays, they use "BUZZSAWS".
