Title: Tsunami does it again - 300

For the second time this year using a Tsunami, I have shot a 300. After 22 plus years without a 300, I have shot two in 2006 (the other in February). The hitting power and carry of the Tsunami is tremendous, especially on dry lanes or lanes with carrydown.

The Tsunami coupled with the solid Uranium have made a very nice one-two punch on all of the conditions that I have thrown on this fall. Now if I can only learn to pick a 4-pin (24 for 25 on 10 pins in last three weeks, 10 for 20 on 4-pins).

Thanks again to all of the board members who post their thoughts and ball reviews. When I got back into the game and researched about 30 balls, it was the reviews on this site who convinced me to buy the Tsunami and stick with Lane #1 and I am grateful.

Congrats... I hope it's a sign of things to come for me as well! I have a Tsunami en route which I hope to use once the lanes break down. My 3rd game average is about 40 pins lower than my game 1 average....

Great bowling donretz. I recently purchased an Enriched Uranium and the hitting power and carry of it is awesome also. I plan on getting another Lane 1 after the first of the year for old wood lanes in another house I bowl that aren't as slick as the synthetic lanes I am using the Enriched Uranium on.

Thanks for the kind words - I bowl on both wood and synthetic and use have used both balls successfully on each surface. The 300 was on the synthetic on Monday during a late league, tonight I was on wood (early league) and they were slicker, so I started with the Uranium. Timing sucked tonight and I went 200, 204 the first two. Switched to the Tsunami in the first frame of the third game and went XX/XXXXXXX/X - 268, both 9 counts I missed my mark, several boards outside and still almost carried and then I pulled the one in the 11th and left a 4 pin.

After a below average November (for some reason I stopped following through and it took me a month to figure it out, amazing), I have shot 683, 727, 689, 602, 730 and 672 in December. Looking forward to Thursday night.
