wow...I'm impressed with that Tsunami. Mike was right, looks extremely smooth, even more so than the HDB.

To bad there is no way I will be able to get one of these!

Just guessing here, but I think the HDB is "PK18" & "activator" blended. The tsunami I think is "PK18" & "activator plus" blended.

Yack, geez.  Talk about some burn up and roll out.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE how smooth it is though.  The roll reminds me of my old Trauma Recovery.  Almost looks like it too, lol.  Can you see though when it starts on the backend how it just absolutely dies a few feet before it hits the pocket?  A couple of those shots were really flat (but he did get it out too far, I don't think many balls would roll back up on that kind of shot).  Might have to get me one though, like the roll, I think it'd be a great house shot ball.

I was so impressed with the video that I couldn't help myself.. Dang you Lane # 1!!!  Just purchased by H20 on Sunday and haven't even received it, but jumped all over buddiesproshop to get the Tsunami at their Pre-Order price $155, since bowlersdream has already received theirs and their price jumped from $155 to $180 in a day!!!  Can't wait for my first two Lane #1's to get here!!  Get them punched up and get them figured out before the winter tournaments!!

It's pretty smooth and doesn't hook a whole lot though, that's what I like.  I don't mind something that rolls out so much as long as it does it at 40 or 45 feet instead of 30.  Or hook/stops anyway.  I just get too much stuff that hooks early, then you try to move left and then start hitting flat.  I like the urethane look.

The H2o is a pearlized coverstock using pk18 & just plain pearlized activator blended for the hybrid. The tsunami has solid pk18 & activator+ blended for the hybrid. Also the mini diamonds are repositioned I guess for a earlier midlane read. So you have pearl vs solid & raised mini vs lowered mini for the reaction differences you questioned.

Lol, I'm still wondering how that all works out.  REALLY early rolling coverstock combined with an early rolling coverstock and a REALLY early rolling core.  I guess I don't get it . .  Activator is teh STUFF though.

Sweet vids.
Need to lay low a while, but I will certainly be addng a Tsunami to keep my other Lane #1 balls company. Does anyone else agree that the music in the Lane #1 vidoes is really good stuff? Not just the new vids, but all of 'em!
