Tsunami video
« on: October 31, 2005, 10:28:39 AM »
Well, I thought I'd be nice and make a video of myself throwing the Tsunami.  Well the quality of the video itself may not be 100%, but once i get a hand an actual video camera and not my digicam, I'll make a much better one.

Criticism welcome.

Dude --

Never put up movies in QT format, instead, always use: .avi, .mpg or .wmv. That way you can appeal to a wider audience.

Based on my awesome math skills, I believe that my ball is travelling at 30 ft/sec...or 20.5 mph on average.  Thats nothing compared to my spare balls when I leave gaping splits, I can hit 27 at the pins, which I estimate at 30-31 mph average, accurately too.

ok, i have tried .mov, and .mp4...i cant upload the .avi because its 27mb.  unless you want to host the file for me, deal with the .mp4, somehow.

I checked the source code of the webpage and it's coming up as a jpg rather than a normal movie file.  I think others are having the same problem.  Try uploading the avi to this site, it can handle the file size.

I upgraded my QT to get it.

I thought the ball speed was an optical illusion: holy cow that's high speed!

The view is too far away to see much except that you get a hook and a strike - got any zoom ?
