diffrnt hook ratings

went in the lane 1 reviews and the hook ratings were all diffrnt. scb is stronger than the hdb right?

Yes the SCB is the stronger.  Please remember though - even the strongest ball will  not perform well when used improperly.  

In the case of the SCB: it has been well documented here and in other forums that this ball needs more oil than just about any house is willing to spend money on.  This being noted about the SCB's OOB surface, the reaction of this ball polished is not as well documented.  There is more to be said about polishing the SCB so I suggest you do more research even within this forum about how others have polished their SCB and their experiences comparing the reaction vs. the OOB.

I would hate to have you decide one way or another based upon one factor of a ball's performance.  I have seen others complain because they chose a ball without considering more.
