Unknown Saw

Hey guys,

During league last night, I came across something that I'd never seen before; it was a Buzzsaw that was peach/very, very light pinkish in color. It had the buzzsaw markings and the C2 on it, but the color was unlike anything that I'd ever seen.

The bowler claimed to have picked it up in Ohio a few years back. On the fresh, it pushed through the heads before delivering a whole lot of backend flip. My thought was that it was a color blem, either a Cherry Pearl that didn't add nearly enough red or a Silver Diamond that stayed white rather than silver.

Do you guys have any thoughts here? Have any of you heard of any color blems coming out of Lane 1 back in the day and hitting the streets? It was the strangest looking saw that I've ever seen. If I get the chance, I'll try to take a pic sometime in the future.

sounds like my cherry c/2 Gene, early on some of the red cherry c/2 came out a grapefruit color, I presonally have one and it is the sickest backend ball i have ever seen.  anyone that sees it swears it is a plastic ball till i move over go 5th arrow to the 7 board and crush the rack.  If I have time i will load up a pic tonight

I have seen some before that were claimed to be cherry pearls (not sure if they were blems...or just odd colored though).

Caught these from fast-forwarding through TIVO of MNF:

Describing the Adrian Peterson injury:
"He was coming through the line to make a move and got blindsided by Al . . . Wil- . . . Al . . . Jackson over there on the tackle"
and
"Alex Smith is learning three different offenses every year."

It is off colored c2 cherry nothing special but the color there were many of these around vegas for a few years. I like the color better on them, but since i have 2 c2 cherry's it does not matter to me.

It sounds exactly like what Trigger is talking about. It just seemed so strange to see a color like that. Anyhow, I'd just like to get my hands on any Cherry C2. I had one for the wife a couple of years ago, but we traded it off. Now I wish I had one of my own to play around with. The ball is sick.

Sounds like an original Cherry C/2. The first batch of balls came in a pinkish color. One of, if not thee most hooking ball on the backend I've ever seen. =:^D
