Yes the ball is good. (dependant on style and or lane condition)

Put some details of your game and stats in your profile ie PAP, ball speed, revs style etc. Themn one of the L1 gurus (mafia) may be able to help..

strike?

lol just kidding... well I guess it depends on how you want to layout the ball...

as it says "The ball that does it all"...

a friend has three and two are arcing type and eat up oil... the third one has a high pin drilling and gives him a skid snap reaction and doesn't like so much oil... but the Uranium is for sure not meant to be played on dry lanes... short oiled of the heads are good enough cause the pearl cover can skid long enough with the right drilling

so what is the need... and then have it drilled for it.

I also suggest to contact Lane#1 to get a good advice for drilling...

Without too much info on your style, I will say that I had good success with a plain old label drill, pin about 2 o'clock from ring finger.  Drilled this way, my Uranium Pearl rolled fairly even, and gave me a predictable hard arc at the back as opposed to a snap.

My PAP is 5 over and 1/2 up, which is pretty common.  I get about 350-375 rpms and throw around 17 mph.

Our house has synthetic lanes and normally uses an oil pattern that is the heavier side of medium, 39 ft.  I usually had to wait until a little breakdown occured before I would break out the Uranium.
