Message:  By some of the comments being made, I guess I'm a little late in trying to join your group. I'm not even sure what your original criteria was. If not accepted, my life won't change. I'm not looking for any freebies or perks, I just enjoy bowling and as my first post states, I use only Saws. Bought 4 of the last 5 from Buddies and one from Mike Savoia. Have exchanged a few emails with Doug Sterner and Lane 1. I've been bowling for over 35 years and seen a lot of changes in the game. There is a reason why I'm using Lane 1 exclusively. I do have some insights to share occasional. If that is what your group is about, I'd be happy to be a member. If it is about a few guys, "playing with their ball and if you don't like it, they will leave" then I'm not interested.

It is apparent to me that I don't fit well with this group. I have, in the past expressed my thanks to Lane 1. I did so as a "Lone Wolf". I have convinced at least a half dozen people to buy their first Lane 1, several have bought more.
Please remove my name as a F.O.S. member. I will continue to post or reply occasionally, as a "Lone Wolf". I will continue to use my Saws. I will continue to buy Lane 1.
I wish you all well, and forever enjoy bowling.

FResno i remember you PM I dont remeber if I replied or what I replied with.  I am not sure the meaning of this post.  I started the FOS here at work one day and I never knew it would grow and be recognized by Lane#1 themselves.  However there is still no requirements ,no basic duties, no certain thing you have to do to be part of us.  We are simply a organized group of buzzsaw lovers.  Some of us lurk and some of us post some of us give advice and some do not, its really as simple as that.  The only requirement we have ever had is if you ask to be part of the FOS then please add FOS in some way,shape or form to your signature.  Simple as that.  We are not a bunch of guys claiming how nice our balls are, We are a bunch of buys who have a passion for the sport of bowling and have a passion for the equipment and the company we throw.

Bear in mind, those of us with a low number on here took a lot of flack defending Lane 1 in the early days.  Personally, now that Lane 1 is a force to be reckoned with, it looks like some of the newer members are just trying to jump on the bandwagon.

Fortunately, us old saw users ( me since 1992) was able to just keep taking the money and let the equipment do the talking.  Now everyone realizes thee is more to the buzzsaws than just hype.
