Ball selection
« on: July 27, 2005, 02:44:23 PM »
Ok guys, I need some help selecting my daughters second saw. Got her an HDB about 6 mos ago, & her other stuff is now history. She uses 15# & her HDB I think is laid out about 5x4 1/2, pin above bridge. Usually averages 195 to 205, average speed guessing around 16, good revs in excess of 18,(more than me)& likes to play in or on the edge of oil. Her normal shot on our THS league is about 20 to 10. She can play the big swing from deeper in if she needs to. Now my question. She normally doesn't like pearl equipment because of over under, skid flip reactions. She likes the way my H2O rolls, (pretty smooth) but it is pearl. Looking for a ball that won't change her opinion of saws. Strong is ok, but rolly over flippy is preferred. OK FOS, get to work!!

Sawuser,

If you want rolly, smooth, strong not flippy & not a pearl,I would suggest to you is to get a solid Uranium then polish it after. This ball goes very smooth to the pocket & no wild flip at all as long as there's a good amount of oil.

Thanks,

You wouldn't know the true meaning of bowling 'til you use a "BUZZSAW."

Thanks for the input guys. I was thinking the H2O even tho its a pearl, or the solid U as you suggested. One being more aggressive & one a little less. What we really need is the new Dirty Water!
