Viper Pearl Questions

The Viper Pearl remake touts basically no flare.  Is this a dry or a medium lane ball?  Also, what is its reaction shape?  Arc or skid/flip?  Finally, is it worth buying or are there better choices on the market?

Nice hard arc.  The cover helps it down the lane, and the cores are great for revving them up.  More of a medium lane ball I think, works really nice.  It's definitely worth buying, I've seen only a few balls I was really addicted to, and this is one of them.

If yo uare looking for a light to dry ball get one with a 4-5" pin and put the pin 1-2" above your ring finger with the cg on or slightly above your midline.

I drilled one like this for Sawmill and he's loving life on the dry stuff now.

Doug would you recommend a pin axis drill for this ball.... (I am looking for a control ball for an extreme wet dry house shot and sport conditions) I rev the ball pretty good.  An example of how dry these lanes are on the outside would be that I can usually only throw my flame reactive on this shot and keep it on the rightside, everything else hooks WAY to much.... or would you go with a high pin placement and kick the cg......

Buzzhead,

As Doug said, drill it with the pin above the ring about 2", and the CG Slightly above the midline, and rt of gripline (should end up under the ring, just inside the outside edge of the ring finger hole).  It is definitely for light to light/dry, VERRRRRY smooth and controling arc, with just enough movement.  I will be able to swing it for light/dry conditions, just before they become dry enough for my XXXL.  Doug and Chuck discussed this layout, and as ALWAYS, Doug nailed the layout perfect for me!!!
