Is there someone out there with experience throwing both of these? I would like to know the advantages/disadvantages of each (if any). I could be mistaken, but it seems to me these two balls are very similar.

Ok so this might be a stupid question, but hey that's why I'm here, right? Anyway, what difference does it make cutting the top of the diamond off vs. cutting the bottom off? Isn't it still the same either way? What difference in hook shape (if any) would be caused by this difference? I ask this question assuming you take the difference in coverstocks out of the equation.
