First of all, sometimes the only place to find discontinued balls is on Ebay. Clearly, if he's looking for a C2 core ball, one of the few places to find them is on Ebay. I'm not sure what your problem might be. Do you not like Ebay?

I've read several of your posts and have to express my distaste. Obviously you have a problem with Lane #1 to which you have targeted just about every topic in the Lane #1 forum with your garbage. It's tiresome.

Whether you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth or bought your sense of entitlement somewhere along the way, it does not give you the right to demean people for where they buy their bowling equipment. Money doesn't buy class either.

Maybe you should take a step back and evaluate your behavior concerning the treatment of others. Do you really want to be known as "that guy"?

No problem with Ebay. However I do have a problem when a consumer ask a question and gets a rude crude answer. And then sawhead groupies say it's because he has a history with Lane #1.

Also why don't you evaluate this, their ad is misleading to some. It proclaims their ball as ball of the year. Yet who is declaring their ball, the ball of the year? Now if you read thru the post, you would have noticed that many others felt that way.

Did BTM declare their ball, the ball of the year?

You see Mr Perfect, I have a problem with ads that tend to mislead.

In the other thread, I have posted the remarks of someone who teaches at college level, as to what he feels their ads are saying.
Go read it, and evaluate it!!!!!

I like to deal with companies that are honest in what they say and how they say it. Since you did not address that issue, it tells me that you like congressmen that don't pay their taxes, lie and cheat.

Do I have to read a sign at McDonald's that says the coffee is hot to know that it is? Not most days.

Do I believe that any ball is magically going to raise my average just by the mere fact I'm throwing it? Nope.

Use the same common sense that you used to decide that "Lane #1 Ball of the Year" ad was not BTM Ball of the Year or any other organization's ball of the year. Like your college friend told you, it's simply an ad used to promote a product in a way that makes the consumer want that ball more. It's not misleading to those with common sense. It may be self serving, but aren't all ads intended to be that way?

Also, I don't condone any rudeness to someone looking for advise or have a general question. I feel that we (the bowling community) should help one another without bias or prejudice.
