What Lane 1 ball got your attention? just curious?

I was on a random bowling trip, drive to a city bowl a game or two and go to the next, etc. From Mississippi we went to Louisiana and eventually came to Monticello Arkansas!  Found a little 16 lane bowling center, which was very nice, and the pro shop guy got to talking to us.  He saw the way that i rolled and said the he had a 14lb ball he would like for me to try. AIGHT, he brought to me a BLACK CHERRY BOMB!  never heard of it before, so i threw it and said wow, i was actually throwing a 14lb storm paradigm passion so i was able to compare them head up!  He knew i was in love with it, charge me $60 and the rest is LANE #1.  That's how i became a Buzzsaw Brat!!!  So which ball pulled you in? Oh, yeah i have a 14lb storm paradigm passion for sale

I started with the Golden Nugget and have been using Lane #1 balls on and off ever since.

started with the dirty bomb it was my friends he didnt match up well with lane 1
rest is many happy scores scince then

A couple of years ago, I got back into bowling.  The last ball I had bought was a Fire Quantum.  At the time, I liked the shape of the core.  It seemed so much different the the Hammer stuff I had thrown.  I talked to my proshop guy, since I wanted to buy some updated equipment.
First I got the Brunswick Raging Inferno.  Great Ball, I still use it today.  I bought this ball not doing a lot of looking into covers/cores etc.  
I looked at some of the other balls he had in his proshop.  I saw a Super Carbide Bomb.  So I checked the internet and found the Lane#1 site.  Looking at the balls, it reminded me of my old Quantum.  The cores seemed different then anything else out there.  I really wanted to get the Black Cherry Bomb.  I thought the name was perfect
So I had my proshop guy order me one up, that is after I bought the Super Carbide bomb first

I don't deny that other manufactures make good balls.   I really thought about getting into the Black Widow line since I loved Hammer back in the day.  I just like Lane#1 more.

None has impressed me so far.

Whats impressive is their marketing hype that has caused many believers of the "miracle of the diamond core" to go ga-ga over their stuff and over pay for a bowling ball.

I've had the upearl, usolid, bcb (the best so far), carbide bomb, cobalt solid and the silver bullet.

They are decent balls, however. But nothing to write home Mom about..

back then... the Hybrid Dirty Bomb... but couldn't get one... then the enriched ... again couldn't get one...
Was talked into a Tsunami and loved it till I changed too much....

Now its the Carbide+

Cherry C/2 Pearl. It worked really well for me. The next few Lane #1 balls didn't and I stopped throwing them altogether until I took a chance on a cheap, old Gold Nugget. I liked that one enough that I decided to try a new one again and bought a Tsunami H20. The Tsunami has become one of my top 10 of all time.
