Title: What Lane 1 ball is a MUST have ball.

Considering trying Lane 1 out and I am wondering which one is the "MUST HAVE" and why? I dont really need to fill any holes in my arsenal, just wanting to try out a different company and see what alot of the fuss is about.

for a control ball, the H2O Hybrid Offset is as good as it gets.

I would agree with the above suggestions; the pearl uranium or the Tsunami H20 would be good choices. The Uranium is a very good all-around pearl ball. The Tsunami is supposed to be a very good, predictable solid reactive. If you're looking for balls that can be used on the most conditions, I would look at one of these two as a good place to start.

The Tsunami or the Pearl Uranium are both great benchmark balls. But, if you're looking for something to go long and finish like a gangbuster with great pin carry, then the Cobalt Bomb(pearl) is a must..!! =:^D

i have both the cobalt and tsunami, the tsunami is my money ball, when all else fails and I need to score, the tsunami is my ball of choice

Tsunami is without question the must ball to have!! My second choice would be the Carbide + Plus.  This a great ball and is becoming my favorite.  The  Tsunami, you will be impressed with and you will not believe how hard it hits!

It depends what balls you already have to cover what conditions. For me, the XXXL (of which I have) is a must have ball since I have other balls for other conditions. Now if I was only allowed one ball and no other brand but Lane 1, although I have never have thrown a Tsunami, based on what everyone says about that ball, that would be my ball of choice to try. Been thinking about getting one anyhow ever since that ball came out and still think about it. I may do so one of these days. Have also looked at the Pearl Colbalt.

IMHO judging by your profile the must have balls from Lane #1 are any of the berrys other than the cranberry or the original Blue solid carbide depending on if you're looking at light-medium or medium-heavy.

Both will give you an ultra consistant arc with a nice medium swing.

I haven't used any of the newer Lane #1s, so I can't comment on them. But I've heard that the new Carbide plus is very similar to the original solid blue, but a little stronger.

This new Clear XXXL is a must have...the ball looks absolutely awesome.

From the way cool ball to the special box and special tote bag...way too cool.

But if you are looking at a performance ball, the 2 Cobalts are the best 1-2 punch on the market at this point.

I will also put an honorable mention in for the Tsunami...loved mine as well but love the Cobalt more :-)

Not surprisingly, the Tsunami is the choice of the majority.  I will add my vote to that list.  Have confidence in what I am saying: The Tsunami H20 is the best bowling ball I have ever thrown!  Predictable, even, smooth, and powerful.  I just acquired a second one, and I have an assload of balls to choose from at home.  Can't ever seem to leave this one at home!

Though I haven't thrown my Solid Cobalt yet, I have heard that this may be the one ball that can actually compete with the Tsunami in terms of versatility and predictability.  For what it's worth, those are some pretty big shoes to fill.

I'm putting in a vote for the Solid Uranium.  Has worked on everything but the driest conditions.

Why do people keep trying to compare Lane #1 to other equipment.....when there really is no comparison

Best Prices in all of Colorado on Lane #1 equipment....

On second thought, the XXXL is a MUST have for every serious bowler. It's reaction is unique, and the fact that no other company is currently producing this type of product, it definitely is a must have. =:^D
