What to expect

just picked up a XXXL from Ramimac and want to know if the current layout will move much even on toasted lanes Pin is directly above the bridge and label and CG is in the center directly down from pin between the thumb and fingers stacked about a 3 inch pin .
I dont want this ball to not move at all on dry lanes but dont want to use it for anything but dry lanes either. Looking for suggestions and what everyone thinks would there be a better layout for dry lanes. Not looking for just a 10 pin ball either want to be able to use it when the shot drys up and everything else is hooking to much.

My advice would be to try it as-is first. Go to the local center after lots of open play and you will get a taste of what the ball will do on the dry. Mine is drilled Label 1:30, and I am very happy with the results. To this day, I cannot get used to the plastic coming back with flare rings on it! I use mine on all spares, and strike ball only on COMPLETE toast. If there is still a hint of oil in the heads, I prefer the Bullet to the XXXL.

If you want the ball to move on dry lanes, you should drill it stronger. Meaning, put the pin and/or CG in a stronger position, i.e. farther to the right of your grip, ending with at least 1/2 oz. side weight. A balance hole may be necessary. This will give the ball a bit more hook down the lane. =:^D

I just bought a new red XXXL 3-4 weeks or so ago and I LOVE it. I had it drilled with the Pin under RF & almost but not quite touching the bridge. The driller kicked the CG out just enough that the ball doesn't require a weight hole. Ball works great. Easy to throw straight with no hook at the 6 & 10 Pin  and on dry lanes, even though I don't have much hand, I can hook it just a bit. Don't know if this helps or not.

Thank you all who replied.I decided to plug the ball up and redrill it with pin above bridge and CG swung right about 1-1 1/2 inches to get a little more movement than what it was giving.

perssonally i think you will see less movement with this drill vs a label drill or a 3 3/8 leverage type drill.  pin above the fingers equates to more length where as pin equal to or under will statt the ball sooner
