i've never thrown a lane 1 before, and they're not very popular in my area. just curious what the BCB compares to that i may have seen as far as shape, oil handling, all the good stuff.

There were a few around here, used by a few strokers.  Even with the box finish, it was very smooth and controllable.  The solid PK18 cover and medium-low RG with super-high diff could handle medium heavy (again, around here) quite well.  I don't know if it's quite as strong as the UI, but it's close; the diff should make up for the differences in coverstock.

I have mine drilled 4-1/2 x 4  stacked

the BCB is not for heavy oil .. the question is what is "heavy" ??  what I might consider heavy you might call it flooded .. and also the style can have an effect

anyway .. I didn't change the surface as it came (yet) .. but it is my benchmark ball ... if it skids more than I want, I go to the Solid Uranium & the super carbide bomb

and as mentioned above .. very nice smooth ball .. sometimes if I really hit it (on purpose) it will become strong arc

it is one of my favorite beside the H2O
