whats the major differences between the two drillings in terms of length and backend and any other things that change . thanks

Although LAne 1 suggests that the 130 label style drills are the maximum reacting layouts I have never had any luck with them on Lane 1 balls.

Realistically and generically speaking the 130 drills should provide a stronger backend reaction but not be as snappy as a stacked drill.

Your stacked drillings will hook more overall and provide a very strong midlane reaction while giving a strong backend as well.

Stacked drills were discouraged on Buzzsaws due to the very heavy, strong, smooth rolling cores that have been used in the past. I think they started using stacked drillings now since the cores have evolved and are now more like cores from other companies.

Doug said it all ... I don't even like the 1:30 label myself

label drill is not as snappy as a stacked drill
stacked drillings will hook more overall and provide a very strong midlane reaction while giving a strong backend as well

I agree with strong midlane & strong backend with stacked, however My solid U & xxl had long pin with high top & drilled 1:30 label with high pin, & snap they did!

I am a 1:30 fan!
The only Lane #1 ball I have not liked (with a 1:30 drill) was the Carbide+.
I plugged it and redrilled CG axis, and it is a different ball.
Otherwise, I have several balls drilled 1:30 and I like the reaction of all of them. Diamond cores, bomb cores, and even the G-force WAS core.

The only time I run into trouble with this drill is when trying to play deep inside angles. The ball just does not quite finish (10 pin). Usually when forced inside, I will go to the Cobalt Pearl with a CG out drill.

As for stacked...I have had mixed results. Good on the H20 and not so good on the EU and Dirty Bomb. Maybe it's more of a coverstock issue, but these two balls seem to be a little unpredictable in my hands.

Like a few others have posted here, I also do not like the Label 1:30 drilling. I've tried it on 3-4 different balls and none of them seem to work well for me.

As for stacked, for me it seems like the ball is always in attack mode and when the conditions are right that's all the ball does.. Attack.. Attack.. Attack..

I have seen some success with 1:30 drills for the stroker crowd but for anyone with hand it's not a good thing....quite possibly the imbalance is too much and the ball burns out before looking impressive...I don't know.
