What's next from Lane#1 you ask???
« on: March 02, 2012, 07:55:44 PM »

Well it's the Pearl Droid of course...

http://home.comcast.net/~bandrbowling/PearlDroid.jpg

The Pearl Droid has the Perfect formula for ratcheting up you scores.  The only energy source required is your fingers to torque up our new Cyborg Core.  The Cyborg diamond delivers more power and cuts down over-reaction.  Which eliminates wide-open splits on seemingly good shots.  Give the Pearl Droid a throw and watch your scores go up as the pins have a major meltdown.!!

P.S.  Remember...Nothing cuts through pins better than a Saw..!!

I'm a little confused.  Just a little.  I know manufacturers come out with equipment when Nationals are about to start.  I'd like to know how many Lane 1 has come out with since the start of the 2011-2012 bowling season?

If you consider August 1, 2011 as the official start of the 2011-12 season (USBC uses this date for sanctioning) then they have released 4; maxxx curve, pearl panther, droid, and crystal diamond. This ball will be the 5th release. The Chainsaw SOS came out in July and Buzzbomb Carnage in June, so they're considered 2010-11 releases.

I am super excited about this ball. Can't wait to drill it up this week.

COMMENTS

A much needed improvement over the original DROID, with its super rolly core and Pearl cover the Pearl DROID is a sure winner. Reminds me allot of the original Time Bomb, with its length and driving power. While the Time Bomb is snappier at the break point, the Pearl DROID gets a rolling and look out PINs... Very good on medium conditions, and doesn't burn up quickly like the original DROID would w/o a flood of oil. Time will tell, but I'm thinking the Pearl Droid might just be your next Benchmark ball...

Not really, your time frame sounds right but Lane#1 is very stingy with info and they haven't said much yet
